We use your information to: (a) extract and display estimate details; (b) match you with nearby trusted auto care partners; (c) enable shops to submit competing bids; (d) communicate with you about your quotes; and (e) improve our services and prevent fraud.
3. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your name, contact details, and exact address are kept private until you choose a shop and book an appointment. At that point, we share your contact information and address only with the specific shop you selected, so they can confirm your appointment. Shops receive your vehicle details (VIN, year, make, model) and the full repair information from your uploaded estimate to prepare accurate bids. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, analytics, SMS delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations.
4. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time via our Do Not Sell / Data Deletion page. Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g., completed transaction records).
5. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and access controls to protect stored data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah), you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; opt out of sale or sharing; and receive a copy of your data.
